Science on demand, Modern on-campus information totems

Modern Fulco System information totems have been installed on the campus of the Silesian University of Technology. They mainly serve information and orientation function, but they are distinguished by the technology used.

The totems have a backlight powered by energy produced by an integrated photovoltaic panel. This power source can also be used to power additional functions - a weather station, a smog sensor or a coupled with totem smart benches equipped with chargers for mobile devices.

The basic functions of the totems are primarily to indicate the main directions of important units of the University of Technology and the most important landmarks in the center of Gliwice. Prints on totems are bilingual.

There are 12 information totems on the campus of the Silesian University of Technology and they are located at important points for orientation in the University space.
